A Plethora of Libra ~ 21 Oct 2017

Before navigating the theme of this post, negotiating Mars’ transit through Libra, two quick notes:

Perhaps you saw recent online threads about the collision of two distant neutron stars that happened some 130 million years ago and which Earth-based astronomers witnessed in August. This stellar event was a bling maker. The subsequent explosion blew formative elements into the Universe including abundances of gold and platinum. While early facts about what this means to us here on our home base remain thin, we can at least ponder the approximate point where this happened. The blast occurred near the galaxy catalogued as NGC 4993, which aligns with the ecliptic at 25 Libra 19.

Tomorrow, Mars migrates into Libra joining the Sun (for a few more days) and Venus and a handful of lesser used, yet significant objects. The dwarf planets Makemake and Haumea transit Libra. As does the asteroid Vesta and the centaur Elatus. The Sun, four planets, an asteroid and a centaur! Here are interpretive blips for the less familiar objects.

Makemake - Write good, clear PR for you and your objectives and wrap around it until you believe in it. Improve your carbon footprint in the real world. Cultivate contributing consciousness.

Haumea - Seek out all creative nooks and crannies, surface talent and skills and make haste with applying those assets without concern for how others may respond.

Vesta - Keep the inner flame stoked. Find the fire in the belly and engage everything worth doing with gusto. Approach every deed with ceremonial intent.

Elatus - Apply instinctive responses to circumstances you encounter. If things feel right place, right time, stick around. If not, expedite to locations and conditions that contribute to your objectives.

Libra ultimately is the sign of negotiation and equalizing imbalances such that all benefit from the prevailing trends. Generally considered being peaceful, Libra will put up a fight to preserve fairness and to level the playing field such that all have equitable means for participating in life.

Mars, of course, reacts quickly, and with fiery fervor. He does not hesitate to fight the good fight. As Mars advances next month, he will come to square Pluto in Capricorn on November 18th. Mars and Pluto share rulership over Scorpio, the sign Mars intends to transit after swerving through the oscillations of Libra. With Mars’ entry into Libra, perhaps the square with Pluto can be installed into the operational consciousness software to refine intent and maximize results.

While Mars and Pluto may declare that all options are on the table, typically meaning that in the current context, the “nuclear option” - whatever that might be, would be called in to level the playing field. Libra energy is quick to point out that scorched earth is generally not pretty, and it takes a while for life to be restored. Remember, battles can be won while wars are lost, politely proclaims Libra.

Libra encourages Mars to recall that if it’s not worth it, it should be let go. Pluto reminds Mars that in terms of classical planets, his realm is forever. He endures and persists and functions under the playing field that negotiators seek to smooth. Thus, think long term. Think ultimate objective. Think in big picture terms.

Prior to the Mars-Pluto square, consider if the efforts engaged materialize in optimal ways, will your energy, consciousness and spirit be up to the task? If a person presents a pure Mars in Libra concept and positive results can be seen for all who would be affected, likely the action spreads like a wildfire. If the effort currently engaged explodes to its greatest potential, will you be able to sustain it? Work to wrap around the “what if this thing really takes off?” conundrum.

In a time when tweeting trolls pollute cyberspace airwaves and when diplomacy and negotiation seem to be lost arts, each person feeling Mars in Libra can function as an ambassador for altruism and awareness. To do this, ones personal line in the sand must be impeccably defined. Be clear on what does and what does not work for you. Know your bottom line. When entering in negotiations, realize that you will ultimately need to make a decision. Pluto clears his throat, muttering that decisions made should only be those that one can live with no compromise to the spirit... and decision that will be in effect for the long haul.

Even when entering into dealings with dubious results, keep in mind that Jupiter now transits the potent galactic complex, Shapley 8, and come November, Saturn aligns with the fountain of progressive insight, the Galactic Center. Realize that tomorrow and for the next week or two, if true inner leanings are clearly perceived as Mars crosses the Super-Galactic Center, that indeed, shifts in consciousness can occur, and new efforts potentially carry the blessings of the heavens above.

Truly, the galactic energetic substrate supports those who conjure and the plans they create whose banner everyone will want to bear.
